This weblog has served out its natural lifespan, and therefore is being closed for good. I hope that it provided you all with some enjoyable summer reading.
It's been a very interesting, often enjoyable summer in St. Petersburg -- certainly one that I shall never forget. :-)
All the present and former inhabitants of the little fourth-floor apartment in Kirochnaya 12 are alive and well, in various large and great cities of the world. We all, I believe, have done pretty well for ourselves this summer.
I shall be resuming my posts in my little corner of the internet, which my regular readers no doubt already know well.
